After everyone left, the man quickly ran towards the girl and the child. First, he looked around for some clothes for the girl to wear. But due to the heavy rain and dense forest, he couldn’t find anything. Then his eyes fell on his own shirt, made of thick silk, which seemed perfect for now. Without wasting any time, he closed his eyes and quickly took off only his shirt and made the girl wear it. This gave him a little relief because now the girl was not without clothes in front of them. The girl still lay motionless, like a lifeless body.
Then the man looked at the beautiful child. After looking at the child for a while, he took out his phone and called someone at the hospital. When a voice came from the other side, he told everything about the girl's condition. But he didn’t mention anything about those strange creatures.
Standing in the rain, after ending the call, he put the phone back in his pocket and lifted the girl in his arms and walked towards the car. Then he opened the back seat of the car and carefully laid the girl inside and closed the door. After that, he went back to the child and picked him up in his arms too. He laid the child on the seat next to the driving seat, then sat in front and started the car.
Somehow, he drove the car out of the pit and rushed towards the hospital. But he had no idea that the green-eyed child, who was lying asleep beside him, was staring at him with dangerous eyes without blinking. His face had a strange mysterious expression, enough to send a chill of fear through anyone’s body.
Flashback ends!
Lost in all these memories, the man had gone deep into thought. But suddenly, the little girl lying beside him, whose name was Jannat, woke up in her sleep, sat up, and started crying while rubbing her big eyes.
As soon as her crying sound reached the man's ears, he immediately came out of his thoughts. Then he quickly hugged Jannat and, while patting her back lovingly, said— "What happened to our sweet Jannat? Why are you crying? Did you see a bad dream? Won’t our Jannat tell her Vinay uncle?"
Hearing his words, little Jannat immediately stopped crying. Then, with her tear-filled green eyes, she looked at the man with innocence while blinking. He was her own uncle, Mr. Vinay. Jannat’s little nose had turned red from crying, which made her look even cuter.
Then Jannat, with pearl-like tears in her eyes, said in her honey-like innocent voice— "Vinay uncle, a girl didn’t give me her tiffin. I really wanted her tiffin. I was just about to snatch it, but she ran away from me. Huhhh!"
Saying this, Jannat crinkled her nose badly, which made her look even cuter.
Hearing Jannat’s words, Vinay ji’s eyes became narrow. Then showing a little anger, he pulled Jannat’s ear and said— "You don’t stop being naughty even in your dreams! Snatching someone’s tiffin is a very bad thing. You should not even think of doing such a thing, doll!"
Hearing this, Jannat slipped out of Vinay’s arms, puffed her cheeks in anger like a cute puppy, and then folded her arms and said with attitude—
"And what about the one who drinks other people’s blood, huh! Uncle, just watch, Jannat won’t let that girl breathe in peace. Tomorrow itself, I’ll eat her whole tiffin and leave her hungry, just wait and see!"
Saying this, little Jannat tossed her hair quickly and carelessly spread herself on the bed in an untidy way. Then, within a few seconds, she had fallen into a deep sleep.
Seeing this, Vinay ji helplessly shook his head and smiling said— "I don’t know when our daughter will stop being so naughty. Now only God can fix her!"
Saying this, he tucked Jannat in properly and turned off the lamp light. Then, after gently stroking her head with love for a while, he walked out of the room.
Next Morning!
It was already eight in the morning, but little Jannat was still in deep sleep. Her innocent face was hidden in the pillow, and she was sleeping on her stomach with her arms and legs spread out on the bed. Her open hair was scattered over the pillow. That means she was completely unaware of the world, lost in the world of sleep.
Just then, Vinay ji entered the room with a breakfast tray. And seeing Jannat sleeping like this, he helplessly shook his head. Then he placed the breakfast tray on the mini table beside the bed. After that, he slowly opened all the curtains in the room.
As soon as the sunlight fell on Jannat’s face, she turned slightly and began to fidget, rubbing her eyes. Then, with her lovely half-open eyelashes, she looked at Vinay ji standing in front of her and said in a sleepy and lazy voice,
"Uncle, please close the curtains! Cute Jannat still wants to sleep!"
Saying this, she covered her face with the blanket again. Jannat always called Vinay ji ‘Uncle’ instead of ‘Chacha’.
Vinay ji smiled at Jannat’s actions. Then he came closer, gently removed her blanket, and lovingly said, "Jannat beti, wake up! It’s already eight o’clock. Did you forget? You have to go to the hostel today. Come on, wake up quickly and freshen up, then eat your breakfast!"
"What??"
Before Vinay ji could even finish his sentence, Jannat suddenly sat up with a jerk and shouted loudly. Her face looked shocked, and she looked very funny.
But the very next moment, in a complaining tone and with a sad face, putting all the blame on Vinay ji, Jannat said, "I did set the alarm! You must have turned it off! Otherwise, Jannat always wakes up on time!"
While saying this, her face showed all the innocence in the world, as if no one could be more innocent than her.
Vinay ji helplessly shook his head and listened to Jannat without saying anything. Because this wasn’t new for him. Jannat often had a habit of blaming others for her own mistakes.
Then little Jannat, after saying all that, quickly got off the bed and rushed toward her wardrobe, saying in a hurried voice, "Uncle, I’ll be back after bathing in 15 minutes. Till then, please check my stuff. I packed everything nicely yesterday, but maybe something got left behind."
Saying this, Jannat quickly took out her clothes from the wardrobe and ran toward the bathroom.
"Be careful, dear! You might fall!"
Vinay ji said in a concerned tone, but before he could finish his sentence, Jannat had already gone inside the bathroom and closed the door. She ran so fast as if she had to win a running competition. Vinay ji’s words didn’t even reach her ears.
Seeing this, Vinay ji helplessly shook his head again and started checking Jannat’s luggage, which was lying on the floor in a messy condition. Some clothes were peeking out of it. Taking a deep breath, he began to organize her stuff.
